Springhurst was the former junction of the line to Wahgunyah. Although the track to Wahgunyah is still largely in place the junction has been removed. The station although still in use by V/Line Passenger trains receives minimal usage with very little development nearby as the Springhurst township is quite small. The former goods area is no longer connected by rail although the station itself is a reasonably substantial brick building.
