Murchison East

Murchison East was the former junction of the Line to Rushworth, Colbinabbin and Gingarre which cureved away from the UP end. The platform retains its station building which is not staffed. Passenger services operated by Hoys Roadlines operate to this station. Murchison East is one of the few stations still in operation for passenger trains which retains the V/Line orange colour scheme due to Hoys not bothering to install their own livery. A siding area is retained at this station to serve some silos.
