Narre Warren Station was originally located on the Up side of the Webb Street level crossing but was relocated to the Down side in the 1980s as the size of the town grew significantly. Up until 2004 the station was unstaffed and contained only a very basic passenger shelter. However in 2004 a new station was built on the platform in the style of other nearby stations at Berwick and Cranbourne. The station is now permanently manned with an indoor waiting area.
