Dandenong
Dandenong Station is a major suburban railway station which is also the junction between the Gippsland and South Gippsland Lines.
The station itself is very modern in design having been rebuilt in the early 1990s with ramps and lifts to be friendly to people with disabilities.
It is one of few suburban stations to retain a goods shed and still has an active freight centre.
There are several goods sidings as well as tracks for the storage of suburban passenger trains.
The station is stopped at by both suburban and country passenger trains.
